Army's Kang Wins Prestigious ITA Leadership Award
Eddie Kang was named the Arthur Ashe Sportsmanship and Leadership Award winner for the NCAA Northeast Region, it was announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Kang will represent the region on the national ballot, which will be voted on within the next two weeks.

Army's Kang Named Patriot League Men's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year
Army senior Eddie Kang was voted the Patriot League Men's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year, it was announced on Monday by Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich. Kang is the third-overall Army men's tennis student-athlete in Patriot League history to win the prestigious award, and the second in the past three years. The scholar-athlete of the year award is voted on by the Patriot League men's tennis sports information directors.

Army's Shurtz Named Patriot League Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year
Army junior Jessica Shurtz was voted the Patriot League Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year, it was announced on Monday by Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich. Shurtz is the fourth-overall Army women's tennis student-athlete in Patriot League history to win the prestigious award. The scholar-athlete of the year award is voted on by the Patriot League women's tennis sports information directors.
