Army's Kumlien Named Patriot League Men's Outdoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year
Army junior Kevin Kumlien was voted the Patriot League Men's Outdoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year, it was announced on Thursday by Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich. Kumlien becomes the fourth-overall Army outdoor track and field student-athlete in Patriot League history to win the prestigious award.

Navy's Moore Named Patriot League Women's Outdoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year
Navy senior Vicki Moore was voted the Patriot League Women's Outdoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year, it was announced on Thursday by Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich. Moore is the second-consecutive and second-overall Navy outdoor track and field student-athlete in Patriot League history to win the prestigious award. Moore was also the recipient of the 2008 Patriot League Women's Indoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.

Patriot League Announces Outdoor Track and Field All-League Teams
The 2008 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field All-League Teams were announced on Monday, following the conclusion of the outdoor track and field championships this past weekend in Annapolis, Md. Army and Navy combined for 48 total selections on both sets of teams.

The Navy men earned their first team title in program history, while the Army women won one of the closest meets in League history at the 2008 Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Championships. A total of 20 NCAA Regional qualifying marks were achieved during the meet as well.
