Patriot League Football Teams Complete Spring Practice
The regular season is on the horizon now that all seven Patriot League Football teams have run through their spring practice schedule. Each of the schools held a spring game or scrimmage to culminate their 15-practice allotment.

Fordham's Ben Dato Signs Free Agent Contract with Baltimore Ravens
It's been a long ride from high school soccer player to NFL free agent for Fordham University senior punter Ban Dato. Not having kicked a football before his sophomore year in high school, Dato made up for lost time, becoming an All-American punter at Fordham in 2007 and then signing a free agent contract with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

79 Patriot League Teams Earn NCAA Academic Performance Program Awards
Patriot League schools fared well in the release of the 2007-08 NCAA Division I Academic Performance Program Public Recognition Awards on Thursday, with the eight member schools combining to have 79 of their Patriot League-sponsored sports honored for their latest Academic Progress Rate scores. Bucknell led all schools with 15 Patriot League-sponsored teams honored, followed by Holy Cross with 14 and Colgate, Lafayette and Lehigh each with 13. At least one school won a public recognition award in each of the Patriot League's 23 sports.
