Patriot League Announces Men's Soccer Academic Honor Roll
Army's Daniel Newell was named the 2007 Patriot League Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year and is one of 76 student-athletes named to this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, announced Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich Thursday. Seven student-athletes achieved at least a 4.00 GPA for the fall academic term, including American's Chris Liebner, Army's Andrew Kydes, Bucknell's Sean King and Jason Soto, Lafayette's Matt Reichenbach and Navy's Evan Barnes and Chris Schneider.

Patriot League Soccer Student-Athletes Earn NSCAA Recognition
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has announced its 2007 award winners across several categories this past month, with Patriot League student-athletes earning several All-Region and All-America nods. The Patriot League placed 17 men's and women's soccer student-athletes on the All-Region teams, and also had five student-athletes named to the Scholar All-Region teams.

Navy's Evan Barnes Wins Inaugural Lowe's Senior CLASS Award
A tremendous leader and one of America's brightest young collegians, Evan Barnes of the United States Naval Academy has been selected as the men's soccer recipient of the 2007 Senior CLASS Award. The award, chosen by a nationwide vote of coaches, media and fans, is presented to the outstanding NCAA Division I senior student-athlete in men's soccer.
