The field for the 2008 Patriot League Tournament is officially set, while seeding between Colgate, American, Navy and Lehigh will be determined after games played this weekend. Colgate's Meghan Lawler, Nancy Clayton and Sara Drexler each earned weekly honors. Joining them was Navy freshman Katrina Nietsch.

Offensive Player of the Week
Meghan Lawler, Colgate So., M, Liverpool, N.Y.
Lawler helped lead a Colgate offensive attack that combined for 19 goals in a win over Lehigh last weekend. The sophomore scored four of the game's first eight goals, and assisted on another, as Colgate lept out to an early 8-0 advantage. She ended the game with five goals and one assist.
Defensive Player of the Week
Nancy Clayton, Colgate Jr., M, New Canaan, Conn.
Clayton helped lead the Raiders to their fifth-consecutive League victory with a 19-7 win over Lehigh. The junior marked the Mountain Hawks' best offensive player, holding her to no goals on three shots while Clayton was in the game. The win helped Colgate secure at least a tie for the regular-season title.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Sara Drexler, Colgate Jr., Pottstown, Pa.
Drexler earned her first weekly award of the `08 season following a near flawless performance against Lehigh last weekend. The junior made 14 saves while only allowing seven goals against. Her save percentage of .667 helped the Raiders remain undefeated in League play, and kept one of the nation's most prolific offenses in check.
Rookie of the Week
Katrina Nietsch, Navy Fr., M, New Canaan, Conn.
Nietsch earned her first career weekly award following her best offensive performance to date. Nietsch exploded for six goals in Navy's playoff-clinching victory over Bucknell, and also tallied two goals and an assist in the win over Howard earlier in the week.
Honorable Mention
Erin Rawlick, Navy
So, M, Catonsville, Md.
Rawlick scored seven goals and dished out six assists in two games last week, including four and four in a win over Howard.
Patriot League Notebook
The Field Is Set
With one week to go in the 2008 regular season, the four slots for the Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Tournament have been filled. Although the seeding has yet to be determined, Colgate, American, Lehigh and Navy will all convene on April 25 and 27. The winner of the Colgate at American game will be the regular-season champion as well as the host for the tournament. American can finish Nos. 1-3, while Lehigh and Navy can each finish in the Nos. 2-4 positions, depending on the outcome of this weekend's games.
All-Time Leader
Lafayette senior Madalyn Booth continued her assault on the record books after scoring three goals and recording five assists in two games last week. The senior now has 127 assists, which extends her lead on the Patriot League career list. Booth has also moved into fifth place on the career points list with 244, and sits just outside the top 10 career goals list with 127. Joining Booth in the hunt for the top 10 career goals list is Lehigh junior Sara MacIntyre, who recorded her 100th career goal in a win over Lafayette, and now has 115 for her career. American senior Jackie Lane is also in the hunt for the career points list with 172 for her career.

2008 Patriot League Tournament
The 2008 Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Championship will once again use the two-day format that gives a day of rest in between the semifinals and the championship game for the top four teams in the Patriot League. The tournament will be held at the highest seed on Friday, April 25 and Sunday, April 27. Team Notebooks
American
The Eagles stayed alive for a chance to host the Patriot League Tournament thanks to a road win at Holy Cross on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Eagles can clinch hosting duties with a win over Colgate this weekend. Lauren Lane scored five goals to lead the American offensive attack, while Kira Sonberg contributed three goals to the win. Jackie Lane and Brit Ferguson joined the four-point club for the Eagles as well in the 17-10 victory.
Bucknell
The Bison fell to 1-4 in Patriot League play following a loss at Navy on Saturday. Julia Braun and Chelsea Peters each scored three goals in the loss, while Carol Donahue and Sarah Collins each had a team-high four points. Donahue now has 25 assists this season, just two shy of the school record.Bucknell will look to finish the season with a record above .500 when they travel to Wagner and host Lehigh next week.
Colgate
The Raiders moved one step closer to a Patriot League regular-season championship with a 19-7 win over Lehigh on Saturday. The Raiders now sit at 5-0 in the League standings, with only a game against second-place American remaining. Goalkeeper Sara Drexler was superb in net making 14 saves while allowing just seven goals against. Brie Moran and Meghan Lawler each tallied five goals during the win, while Jessica Van der Meulen and Lindsay Pittard each recorded four goals.
Holy Cross
The Crusaders were eliminated from playoff contention with a 17-10 loss against American on Sunday afternoon. Freshman Meg O'Leary led the Crusaders with four goals in the losing effort, while Amy Archambault contributed three points. The Crusaders will close out the 2008 season with a home game against Sacred Heart and a road game at Boston College next week.
Lafayette
The Leopards lost their initial game last week at La Salle, but followed that up on Saturday with their first win of the season over Villanova. Senior Madalyn Booth scored four goals and dished out two assists in the game, while Kristin Ruminski, Maria Drehwing and Lauren Brown each notched two goals in the win. The Leopards will look to end their season on a winning streak as they host CCSU and Navy in games next week.
Lehigh
The Mountain Hawks defeated Marist early last week, but were upended 19-7 by League-leading Colgate in a game on Saturday afternoon. The loss drops Lehigh to 3-2 in League play. Freshman Kindall Healy scored a career-high three goals in the loss, while fellow newcomer Lauren Dykstra scored two. Even with the loss, however, the Mountain Hawks clinched a playoff berth, and will play for seeding purposes when they face off against Bucknell this weekend.
Navy
The Mids picked up two victories last week, including a needed League win over Bucknell. The two wins, both of which came at home, extend Navy's home win streak to 10 games. Freshmen Katrina Nietsch (6) and Meg Decker (4) combined to score 10 goals in the Bucknell game, while sophomore Erin Rawlick contributed five points on three goals and two assists. In their first season of Patriot League play, the Mids have already guaranteed themselves of a berth into the Patriot League Tournament with one League game remaining at Lafayette.
